Arlo

Tonight's the last night of our vacation.  I'm sitting here with a couple thousand photos in front of me trying to figure out how where to start.  In Hawaii, in Tucson, family photos, sight-seeing things?  I guess the best place to start is the reason for the whole trip in the first place, my nephew Arlo.  Two months ago my sister had the first of a new generation of our family, a baby boy she and her husband named Arlo.  We spent the last week getting to know the little guy and spending time with my sister and her husband, my brother and his girlfriend, my parents, and Sara's brother and his girlfriend.  It was an awesome family reunion and a great addition to our Hawaii vacation.  Arlo's lucky to have such great parents and grandparents, not a minute went by where his every whim was not met.  In terms of pictures, I couldn't take enough.  I'll only post ten here, but it's not going to be easy to choose from the hundreds I took during the last week.  As always, here's 10 pictures and some foolish comments.

This might be my favorite picture of the whole trip.  Check out those blue eyes.
He looks pretty calm in all the pictures, but we found out that we could get about ten minutes of shooting in before he'd had enough.  He was a great sport though.

Arlo couldn't ask for better parents.

  1. You've found your calling! What beautiful pictures. Arlo is a very lucky little boy. Next time you and Sara are in the States swing by. You won't recognize the place! Assuming I ever get done with the repairs/remodeling. Thanks for sharing all the pictures.
